Somer G. Anderson is a CPA with a Ph.D. in personal financial planning from Kansas State University and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Missouri. She has published her work on financial literacy and retirement issues in numerous peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, she has been awarded the Teaching Excellence Award from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Program (ACBSP) and the Robert O. Hermann Dissertation Award from the American Council on Consumer Interests.
